How We Work

You watch it get built.

There is no discovery phase you pay for twice, no month of silence, and no reveal at the end. There is a live URL in week one that gets better every few days.

  1. 01

    Scope

A call, then a written scope that says what the first release contains and — more usefully — what it does not. Fixed price where the shape is clear, weekly where it genuinely is not. No discovery phase you pay for twice.

  2. 02

    Design

Real screens, not wireframes, because nobody can judge a grey box. You see the actual thing in a browser or on a phone early enough to change your mind while changing it is still cheap.

  3. 03

    Build

You get a live URL from the first week and it updates as we go. No month of silence followed by a reveal. Everything ships to your accounts — your domain, your repository, your database — so it is yours while it is being built, not after.

  4. 04

    Launch

We handle DNS, certificates, email records, store submission and the things that break on launch day. Then we stay on for a fixed period to fix what real users find, because they always find something.

—Plainly

You own everything, from day one

The repository, the domain, the database, the hosting accounts — all in your name while the work is happening, not transferred at the end. If we fell under a bus mid-project you would still have a running system and the code to continue it.

We scope a first release, not the whole idea

Every project has a version of itself that is half the size and answers the real question. We will push you toward that one. It is not us managing you down; it is the only reliable way to find out whether the thing works before the budget is gone.

We will tell you when not to hire us

Some things should be a spreadsheet, or an off-the-shelf product with your logo on it, or nothing at all. Being told that in week zero is worth more than being sold a build.

No retainer you cannot leave

Support after launch is a fixed period, agreed up front. If you want us on afterwards it is because the work is worth it, not because the contract made leaving awkward.

Send us the problem.

A couple of paragraphs is enough to start. We will come back with what we think it takes, what it would cost, and whether we are the right people for it.
